Family living in Brookline, Massachusetts with 11 months, 2, 12 and 15 year old girls is seeking an educated, experienced, professional, active, and engaging rotational full-time nanny. Position is live out and schedule rotating 7 days on and 7 days off (Saturday at 7:00am to Friday at 8:00pm) with varying amounts of extended hours, overnights, and travel during rotation. Longer and shorter rotations will be required due to family travel throughout the year. Family will provide notice as far in advance as possible with scheduling, but position requires flexibility as last minute trips and events occasionally arise. Family has another residence in Cabo, which they travel to at various times throughout the year. Approximately 4-6+ weeks of international and domestic travel per year is required and approximately 2-3+ weeks of overnights at residence when principals are traveling without children. This position is primarily for the youngest two children. There is another rotational nanny who will partner in this role and a nanny who assists with the 2 year old before handling the older children’s after school activities. There will be few moments where charge of all four children is required. Additionally, the family has three full-time housekeepers providing coverage for weekdays and weekends, so the role is limited to only childcare responsibilities. Domestic employees all report to the estate manager. Applicants need to be honest, trustworthy, understand the importance of maintaining discretion, collaborative and experienced working in fully staffed residences with domestic employees (e.g., estate manager, private chef, housekeepers, nannies, etc.), experienced working with stay-at-home mom and principals that are at residence often (discreet and staying out of the way is important). Candidates must be comfortable working around dog (Lab mix). Children are enrolled in private school, which is short driving distance from the family’s residence. Uniform is required and stipend will be provided. Staff vehicle is provided for transporting children. Family is open to local candidates in Boston and domestic relocations. Start date is ASAP, but flexible for the right candidate.
